Intarsia Cushions Finished

Update on the wool intarsia cushions: They're done! Got them done a while ago, but forgot to post here about them. So here are some final progress photos.

Here is one panel completely done with the gold around all of the berries.

The second panel, finishing up the gold leather around the outer berries.

Starting to put in the pillow inserts. Just used ready made 16" pillow inserts from a craft store. You can see the green wool making up the back panel and a little bit of the linen back for the front panel. I'm mainly checking the fit at this point.

Here you can see the linen backing. Nothing too special about that but I think it gives the front a bit more strength.

Here you can see the application of the edging. I used wider gilt leather for this bit. I think it really finishes off the cushion nicely.

And here is one of the cushions all finished! I'll try to get some better pictures of the two complete cushions at some point. So so happy how these turned out and get lots of compliments on them.
